Arthur Naylor served as Chief Information Architect for CondeNast Publications’ CondeNet during its explosion onto the Internet, and was instrumental in developing and designing websites for magazines including The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Architectural Digest and many others. Previously, he was Web Architect for and Media Consultant to national and international publishing houses including Hearst Corporation and Harlequin Enterprises.

Currently, Arthur is president of MONETAR Web Media Productions, a web design and development firm focusing on helping smaller businesses build vibrant, successful Internet presences.

“The Internet is essentially an all-encompassing, decentralized, self-organizing swarm of competing and at the same time cooperating shouts and murmurs… each with the same chance of being heard,” Arthur says . “Because of global access to the Internet, word of mouth now extends around the world.

“With the Internet, what we once considered unknown or insignificant has the very real ability to compete with what we consider to be known and significant ... and win. Companies need be properly positioned online and manage their online presence with the game-changing nature of the Internet in mind… monitoring, participating in and taking advantage of the conversation.”
