After spending ten years on the client side in packaged goods marketing firms, Mark joined McKinney-Silver in Raleigh, North Carolina. He spent 18 years with the agency, becoming a partner while he managed their largest accounts, led agency new business efforts, and served on the Executive Committee. The creative work on his accounts won virtually every national award in advertising.
Since 2003, Mark has run and consulted with numerous agencies, including members of Second Wind. He helps agencies create cultures of excellence by focusing on the innovative thinking necessary to succeed in the rapidly changing marketing communications business.
Mark recently published a book on account management titled The Golden Football: Replacing Account Service with Account Leadership.
