Rinck Feel-Good PR for VetriScience Labs Earns CBSNews, People Mag Exposure

When client VetriScience Laboratories donated $10,000 to cover a veteran’s service dog’s surgeries, agency Rinck Advertising, Lewiston, ME, sprang into action. They pitched the story to CBS Evening News, where “On the Road” correspondent Steve Hartman reported it was the first news story he’d done from a PR pitch. The story of Christy Gardner and her dog Lucky, and the generosity of VetriScience, aired nationally, and People.com picked up the story; both news outlets shared ongoing updates. VetriScience received hundreds of positive social media comments and direct communications from supporters, and Rinck took home a 2019 PR Daily Media Relations Award.
