Seminar Policies and Information
What does my seminar fee include?
Are hotel, airfare and transportation included?
Hotel and airfare are not included in the seminar fee. Attendees are responsible for making their own travel, transportation and lodging arrangements.
What time do the seminars begin?
The seminar room will open at 8:00 am with a continental breakfast and classes begin promptly at 8:30 am. Seminars will adjourn no later than 5:00 pm.
How many attendees do you typically have?
Our attendance rates vary per seminar, however, we typically have between 35-60 people. Reservations are on a first come first served basis so be sure to reserve early.
What is the seminar dress code?
Dress is business casual. For those of you who tend to be chilly, you may want to bring a light sweater. We are unable to control the temperature in the meeting room and they typically keep the temperature turned down slightly.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
There is nothing specific you need to bring to the seminar. All materials will be provided upon arrival.
Will there be a lunch break?
Yes, the seminar facilitator will give you an hour for lunch, usually starting between 12:00 and 12:30. Lunch will not be provided, however you will typically be able to get lunch within a short walking distance.
Do you take walk-ins?
No, seminars must be reserved and paid in advance. Due to contract requirements with the venues we use, we are required to have a final attendee count to them one week prior to the seminar.
What form of payment do you take?
Seminar reservations are booked online and paid with a credit card. Payment must be received in full before seminar reservations will be confirmed. If you are remitting credits or vouchers, they must be presented at time of payment. Additional discounts or vouchers will not be accepted after registrations/orders have been processed.
What happens if I cancel my seminar reservation?
For cancellations of paid reservations received prior to 72 hours before the start of the seminar, any fees paid are not refundable, but will be credited toward any future seminar or applied to any Second Wind publication or service purchased within one (1) year from the date of the seminar. Substitutions are allowed. Cancellations received within 72 hours of the start of a seminar will not be refunded or credited.
What if the seminar is rescheduled due to unforseen circumstances?
In the event a seminar needs to be rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control (weather incidents, widespread illness, acts of terror, and so on) any fees paid will not be refunded but will be applied to the rescheduled session or to another seminar of your choice.
