Wyomissing, PA, 01/03/2020 – Noted advertising agency personnel trainer Second Wind will begin its 2020 training schedule with Account Executive College, its account management workshop for advertising agency account executives and account coordinators. AE College will be held April 21 and 22, 2020, at the University of Chicago’s Gleacher Center, Chicago, IL.
Day One of this popular training event consists of “Account Service Essentials,” the best course available for account service staff, providing methods for improving account service and retaining the accounts that are important to agency viability and growth. Day Two focuses on “Strategic Market Planning,” with a look at how smaller ad agencies’ participation in client planning processes can help grow deeper, longer-lasting client relationships.
“The changing nature of the smaller ad agency business means many account service people are being asked to assume tasks and responsibilities that actually take their focus away from core account service best practices,” said Laurie Mikes, Second Wind’s COO and lead seminar facilitator. “Our courses have been developed and shaped over decades of working with and among smaller ad agencies and their employees, with a focus on account management, established techniques, and well tested procedures. Our 2020 AE College workshop is designed to teach attendees the essential practices to boost revenue and profit, and grow strong client relationships.
“We also hope to remind ad agency owners that account service people need to do less project management and workflow oversight, and refocus on core account management to ensure account retention and growth.”
Seminars are $1,350 per person for Second Wind members, and $1,675 per person for non-members. Attendees who complete both days of a two-day session are eligible for Second Wind certification as a Certified Agency Account Manager.
Additional Second Wind training events are being planned and will be announced early in 2020 to assist agencies with plans for employee training.
