Day Two focuses on “Account Planning and Strategic Planning for Smaller Agencies,” with a look at how smaller ad agencies can make account and strategic planning part of their account management processes, improving customer understanding, enhancing creative output and aligning creative more closely to client objectives.

“Because many people leading smaller ad agencies and marketing firms arrive in the advertising industry from the creative side of the business, or as account managers or media people, they often lack a strong skill set in overall agency management,” said Laurie Mikes, Second Wind’s COO and lead seminar facilitator. “Our courses have been developed and shaped over decades of working with and among smaller ad agencies and their employees, and focus on key management best practices, established techniques, and well tested procedures. Our Fall 2018 seminars are designed to teach attendees the essential practices to boost revenue and profit, and grow strong client relationships.”

Seminars are $1,150 per person for Second Wind members, and $1,475 per person for non-members. Attendees who complete both days of a two-day session are eligible for Second Wind certification as a Certified Agency Financial Manager or a Certified Agency Account Manager.
